Street Painting & Pavement Art

New art school has become established since the 80’s: 'The new streetpainters' developed a special form of art with sophisticated techniques, meanwhile replacing the traditional pavement art. The specialities of these painters, painting street painting painter works of highest requirements with self-made pastel chalks on the street, are three-dimensional pictures and great masters’ copies of captivating quality. Streetpainters become more and more rare. Thus unfortunately the unique opportunity of watching an artist working in his open-air studio on the street disappears as well as the possibility to see how he forms fascinating works of art which have no equals today. The nowaday's "new streetpainters" receive their orders world-wide in the modern way: by agencies. At the top of the agents’ lists figure Edgar Mueller and Manfred Stader, a genious team for years. We offer you the possibility of inviting two pavement artists who know-how to inspire your customers through highest virtuosity. Within the framework of “pavement artists in school”, Manfred Stader teached the basics of pastel at Californian schools, gave lectures about the traditional streetpainting and in his workshops child hands changed the schoolyard into real seas of colours. Edgar Mueller chaired several workshops for streetpainters during festivals and in schools. Both artists participated as protagonists in large-scale projects. Stader conceived in 1985 in Nuernberg the largest painting picture on the street of the world at that time, entitled "Endzeit", which entered into the Guinness book of records. To both artists, having a university education, the title "Meister-Madonnaro" has been awarded, which has been granted only to a few artists world-wide. Since 1972, this honor has been awarded every year at the occasion of "Ferragosto" (Assumption Day) on an international competition of streetpainters in the small North Italian pilgrim town "Grazie di Curtatone". Stader and Mueller also won many other competitions.
